What happens if I miss my connecting flight?

If you miss your flight to MSP because your flight to AMS on a different itinerary was late, KLM or Delta has no responsibility to put you on another flight. You will be bound by the fare rules of your flight to MSP, which may allow you to re-book for a fee or require you to buy another ticket, unless you bought a full-fare refundable ticket.
