How long will US customs hold my shoes for?

There really isn't a good way to predict this. It depends on whether the paperwork is filled out accurately and rather the shoes are designer knock offs. In my experience, some (the majority) of things go through pretty fast, but if there's a question about duty owed or incomplete paperwork, I've had packages held up as much as 8 weeks.
