How long do items usually take in customs?

It's possible. If the shipment that your order is with had any problems, Customs can & will hold the entire shipment for as long as it takes to clear the problem up. Usually it's because of wrong information, or wrong paperwork or something like that. Generally shipments that are held up are usually released within a week but keep checking with UPS.
