NBA 2k11 keeps freezing (commentator glitch)?

After the second patch or the ps3 system update back in December,my game keeps freezing while playing an exhibition game, associate exhibition games, or my player games. The commentators stop talking, then when they do come back it's a play from earlier in the quarter, and also the game feels slower. I turned off the instant replay and etc so that can be something the game will stop loading because at times after a made basket, the opponent tries to take out the ball but doesn't. All five of their players come to get the ball while the inbound passer moves side to side and at that point I need to quit. Once I quit the game freezes and causes me to restart my ps3. Aside from fixing THAT glitch (by turning off replay), when the quarter is over or going into half time, the game takes forever to "catch up" and finally the new quarter or half starts again. If I sim the game or quit, the game freezes. What's causing this issue? I was hoping 2k will resolve this but they haven't done so and I don't expect them to.
