(Hi, I'm not American, I don't speak English) Question about California, Los Angeles County and Orange County?

Hi, I'm writing from Italy, I always watched telefilm and film about California, and at me like much this places, for exemple here is again star, for the third time The OC, the orange couty, Newport beach hunghton beach, or long beach, Santa Monica, Manhattan beach, are everyone places that I love, but many people in Italy says that this places are stereotyped, the truth is that this places are ugly, but I think that this is not the truth, yes maybe this places are a bit stereotyped but there are the beach and the girls, the surf, the skate, no? Which is the lifesyle in this places (Santa Barbara County, Los Angeles County, Orange County and the cities around, also San Diego)? Yes, maybe is not like in The OC (telefilm), but is beautifoul? I hope of yes, because I love this places, and if are ugly.... So, Is really that in California there are many party, dance, festival, party at home, tell me all about this places and the people, and maybe next year I will go there (with somebody that can speak English, 'cause I can't).
